Winter Project

When the weather outside is cold and stormy,
I'm inside, cozied up by the fire, creating Fine Art Frames. Let it snow, let snow, let it snow.
After I finish carving the object, on goes layer after layer of bole and rabbit skin glue. Yes, everything is done in the "old fashioned" way. It truly is a lesson in patience. One that I love.
Then it's off for a break with my cozy critter friends, Lullie and Zinia May.
White pine is a favorite treat for the goaties at this time of year. They would follow me around all day, as long as I had a branch to tease them with. Actually, they would follow me around all day, period. That's what I love about this Nigerian Dwarf breed. They just love being around people!
Then it's back to work on my framing projects.
Ahhh, a day in the life of an artisan!
